There are many emotions that humans can feel, all the emotions are felt by all the people but how people respond to these emotions is what differentiates them. Emotions are what differentiates us from the uncivilized, but its not rare to find that many of us are uncivilized. It seems that responding to a emotions with a emotion is the rational thing to do, is it really?. By that logic we fight hate with hate which leads to more hate and in the end no one wins, yes happiness increases by sharing but not hatred. This is the reason why we see so much hate in this world, rationality preceding righteousness and unless things change the equation will be unbalanced and there will be pain and suffering in this world.
