Do you still not believe in destiny?

So, do you believe in destiny? Do you think that everything that’s happening in your life, the life of others and the things around, are all part of a grand scheme of things?
Well its very hard to have faith in such a system, especially when there’s so much cynicism in the world.
But then you get stuck traveling in a empty bus on your way to work and gaze at the pouring rain that’s made everything standstill and you get lost in a chain of thoughts that question your value system.
Have you ever not had that feeling?
Our world, our life is a function or simply influenced by the innovators that lived and left their mark. I see cars outside through this toughened glass and I think how come the glass was invented before the invention of the car, why not the other way, well that would have made things a little different, a time when cars didn’t have windows.
We have reached this day, this age and when you look back you see everything unfolding in an amazing synchronized fashion, each innovation, each stage of development following a path which could never have been altered, a plan that was optimized to serve the humans. Nothing could have happened in any other way, it just was meant to happen this way.
Well, may be my words speak too much of optimism and many would have wanted things to have happened in a different way, may be someone would not have wanted the things that happened to them, but then is that really what one would want, a different past, a different history, a different career, a different life partner, a different country, a different life?
Do you still not believe in destiny?

The End of Faith

You are having a bad day, a bad week or probably a bad life but still somehow you manage to rise with the sun each day, you fight the daily battles to earn your bread, you fight your own demons and you do not give up on your beliefs.
The world is a heartless place, its people will stab you in the heart, they will toy with your spirit and they will never stop trying to break it. Everything around you will try and destroy you, the people, their greed, their unreal self will only try to corrupt you.
But just when you have reached your pinnacle of failure, the end of your patience and the ultimatum of your hatred, a ray of light will break through the clouds of darkness and even if for only a quantum of moment it will make you smile and restore your faith in the world that you once cherished to live in.
Life as hard or unpredictable it may seem always had a plan for you, a route to equilibrium. It’s a long way and its hard, it will make you cry and it will make you suicidal but nothing else would ever suffice.
Thank you Mr. Stranger.

A Paranoiac Reality

It’s all fixed, you wouldn't feel it but yes, you are wrong. All this while you didn't suspect a thing, some did and it made them miserable, ignorance truly is bliss. It’s hard to imagine, worse to come to terms to it and it’s truly hopeless to live after you know what’s what. There are no accidents, there’s action and there’s consequences but most of us never get to make the choice, we are mere spectators, pawns, too worthless to be a protagonists of this game being played. We hear things happening and feel what’s wrong with the world, why is this happening, why isn't someone out there making things right, where is the almighty god we put our faith in all this time, does the father not love his children anymore. The sky’s burning, mountains melting, people dying, children being born and wealth being found, why is it so much value on a piece of paper you can only imagine and not on all that you feel, you ask only cause you don’t have it, yes the grapes are sour. You wake up each day living your lives only to be heartbroken to know all the dreams you dreamt are now nothing more than dreams, reality is the knife sharpened with your dreams, stabbing you in the heart just when the worst was over, relief if there’s must be in death or maybe it’s just the beginning.

Explore your Insanity

It’s hard getting out of bed in the morning especially when it’s the warm memories that keep you cosy and the weather outside is begging you to not let your mind work tricks on you. But still you do, going against your will and against everything your body wants you to do, in a way it’s probably the stupidest thing to do and it’s just the first thing for the day.
So since you are already going down the stupid lane, why not make a mark if not in stupidity itself, why not pull on your sneakers and go out to reclaim your insanity, go and speak to the sun, hear the morning chirps, explore the empty lanes just prove to yourself and to the world how silly you can be and then raise the bar.

Live your Passion

Not everyone will understand the things you do, and probably none will ever know what you feel or what you have in mind and what you plan to do. There are some things that will keep you awake and not let you breathe, they will force you to obey and work your ass of, you will redefine yourself and everything you know, you will paint the world in your blood and never question its logic, you wouldn't get anything out of it, no nickel of gold nor a little word of appreciation yet you will find yourself burning every little drop of your blood to do what you can only define as your destiny.
Passion. It will kill you, but nothing else can ever make you feel alive.

Have a Nice Day!

It was a good weekend, probably better than good, it began as a bit hectic but then some stars shone and made it better. So how do you know you have had a good weekend, a good job or just a good life? What parameter would you want to focus on, your bank statements? The dress size of your partner? Or the shine in your garage? Well, all the above parameters do make sense and probably it’s a good thing to quantify your life’s joys in such way for some people, but is your happiness defined and limited by the things you have done, the things you own and the people you know? Would it not be better to just sit at night lost in your thoughts, not thinking of your next credit card purchase or that girl in the red dress but simply trying to change the things around you, make them better… innovate. Not exactly plan a revolution or make a grand business plan, it doesn't even matter if what you come up with is an efficient way to eat ice cream, it’s just the idea that you have decided to focus your energies not planning for your life’s struggles but rather bringing in change, even if it’s a change within. And that’s when you know you have had a good day, a day at the end of which you can even if only for 90 seconds just lose yourself in your thoughts, your passions, your ideas of the world and refine them, make yourself or the things or the people around you a little bit happier. Add value.

The New Year

Possibly the worst start to the new year if you really think about it or may be not, i like to think otherwise but well... my opinion is likely to be biased.
Christmas eve was an anxious wait to go under the knife, a bit nervous and scared was the only second emotion besides the ones i bring upon myself, boxing day began early and well it just came and went, dreaming under morphine was heavenly but then there's a very good reason why its banned, possibly one the the rare pleasant moment in the last couple of weeks... quite disturbing, but that was the last time i remember that i was free to the last cell in my body.
These last two weeks have been a real physical test, you always imagine a certain level of pain that your body can bear, nothing beyond that, but then, that level is broken like your 3rd grade english score.
I might possibly never forget the couple of nights after boxing day, when i really understood what excruciating pain really meant and felt like, how it doesn't let you sleep nor even think, the night that never seemed to end, the night that almost made me cry and regret.
Its been better now, its also in a way that i have exceeded my pain bearing ability to the pro level, something better for the future, although i never in my remaining unknown life would want to go under those lights or anyway near it.
The new year does bring with it a feeling of being born again, quite literally, feeling the ground under your feet, taking those baby steps, learning the whole walking business again.
For all that has happened, and didn't, the things that should have but didn't, the way things should have worked out but didn't, all i can say to myself is, let it all slide, there is a reason for everything and there's one for you to take charge of everything and feel that power in your arms, things will happen as soon as you make them happen.

The Game to Save our Morals

If you have been noticing the things and the people around you, you might have felt a sudden urgency among people to save the Indian culture, society, the true Indianess as and how you want to label it.
Suddenly waves after waves of the population have been rising, passing moral judgement's based on what little they know of Indian culture, to be fairly accurate only a quantum of the population really knows the real Indian traditions, culture, knows in the sense not just have the information but rather knows how they were formed, the purpose, the objective behind every tradition.
What really rings my bell is this rising section of the population unaware of the meanings of the words they preach, a generation of men and women, bored and frustrated with life either with a lot or nothing to do or may be some thing else that has blinded them, a sea of blind monsters trying to swim against the waves.
Societies, culture, traditions evolve as we do, we are moving towards what could simply be described a egalitarian society, a society of free and liberated apes, things are changing to suit the needs and the demands of modern man, but a few feel this change is a move away from culture and tradition that gave birth to us all, and now some feel its their duty to protect what little is left.
Who's duty it is, or if its a issue to be worried about, or even maybe this movement to protect the diminishing art is right or not, is not a question i can answer, for i like the majority am unaware of the meanings of the words on the wall, i, like many am a free rider trying to get through life with minimum hassles, trying to understand life and its meaning is not a top priority, probable in the days close to the grave i would contemplate on such issues.

Welcome Back

Three years since my last post, did i miss blogging? well to be fair i cant remember where the time went or what i did, it seems more like a distant dream which i am not sure if i want to remember.
It does feel good to write, plugged in to some good music, feel the tunes flow through the dark tunnels of the brain and push out all the bad memories, clean my soul of all the impurities, a slow process of detoxification, precisely thats what i need.
Its good to be back.
welcome back.

Rational Emotions

There are many emotions that humans can feel, all the emotions are felt by all the people but how people respond to these emotions is what differentiates them. Emotions are what differentiates us from the uncivilized, but its not rare to find that many of us are uncivilized. It seems that responding to a emotions with a emotion is the rational thing to do, is it really?. By that logic we fight hate with hate which leads to more hate and in the end no one wins, yes happiness increases by sharing but not hatred. This is the reason why we see so much hate in this world, rationality preceding righteousness and unless things change the equation will be unbalanced and there will be pain and suffering in this world.

The Life Of Time

Time, 60 seconds a minute, 60 minutes an hour, 24 hours a day, 365 such days in a year and how many of those seconds, minutes, hours, days and years just pass by with nothing being done, how much time is spent doing things that don't matter and how much time is spent on things that really matter, things that make a difference in lives of oneself and others, things that are meant and need to be done, things that bring change, things that make this imperfect world a bit better than what it currently is and it takes only one such second to make a vast difference in your life, a moment u spent in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people, a second that will change everything in your life.
Each second counts and it waits for no one, so how do do plan to spent the seconds that are left in your life, for life is short, unfair, unpredictable but beautiful.

The Dark Life

Once was a boy simple and kind,
Was not like the rest but was brilliant inside,
Never was he noticed nor ever did he catch anyones eyes,
He had done nothing in his life,
And was a failure at everything in life,
Had no memories of his past nor any plans for his life,
He wished for the end but it was not his time,
As he waited for the end there was a light in his life that pierced everything in his mind,
She was the one he thought who would save him from this life,
And he did everything he could to win her smile,
She smiled for a while and it was the time of his life,
He now wished for a lifetime but god was not on his side,
He was just another soul and there were more on her mind,
He no longer wished for the end, for the first time in his life he had taken control of his life,
There was nothing in his life that could change his mind,
And once for all he silenced his mind.

One Life

Life...four alphabets coming together to define something so important that we try to understand it all the time that we are alive. Limp Bizkit says "life is a lesson and you learn it when it through" and its does make a lot of sense. Most of us don't understand what our life stands for or what we are to do with it, so i ask is there a purpose for our lives, is there a higher calling, is there a reason why we walk on this planet at this point of time or is there a task set for us to fulfill in our lifetime.
The sole purpose of our life is to fulfill our destiny...our destiny is nothing but the things that we dream to accomplish, the things that bring us joy, the things that we wish and not the things that are expected of us and so i appeal to everyone to discover there destiny to find the reasons for our existence and then dedicate life in its pursuit.

Fight Till The End

No one lives forever, nor shall you and nor shall i. Looking at the current situation, i say i would be lucky to live till a age of 60...but do i want to is the question. Its not my call for i cant call death when i want to and it seems unlikely that i would kill myself for i am no quitter...i am a fighter, i crave pain for it defines me, its something that differentiates me from the dead. Read it somewhere sleep when you are dead till then have coffee, it makes much more sense to me than any of the thing that people tried to teach me. So wake up and fight, fight the system you hate, fight the bullies who try to dominate you and tell you what to do and there's no shortage of such pricks. Fight to make this world a better place or fight to change the conditions that you are born into, choose your arena and then devote yourself to it.

Cry

What are you made of, how much can you take? ...and my answers, you can't break me, no one..nothing can! There is nothing in this world that i can't do, there is no one on this planet better than me, there is no pain that i cant bear, nothing that i cant get through, nothing that i cant conquer, nothing that ll scare me away, for i dwell in adversity, pain is what makes me smile.
I am invincible.

Break Free

I want to break free.. Queen said that some time back and as i look at my life i understand the real meaning of the song, it were not just words put together to make a song that would sell rather a philosophy that one realizes when hes high. Alcohol i love it, its something that frees me of all my pains and i have my share of it. Pain... its something that everyone runs away from but not me.. pain is good, its something that makes you feel alive everyone has his share of it only, a few skip it, i pity those individuals, the ones born with a silver spoon up their asses for they have missed a chance to be alive. We are born and breed to do things that we were meant to do. Destiny, i say fuck destiny, no one tells me what to do for i am the king of my castle, i am the ace not the jack who kisses some queens ass. I say break free of all chains that you are born into and trust me everyone's born into a set of chains that shape ones future. The way we think, the things we do, i say break the rules, for rules are made to chain the animal instincts and man is nothing but a advanced version. Survival of the fittest is the only law that applies, there's no one on your side, you are on your own and no one needs no one... there's no mutual understanding, there's only one winner and the winner takes it all, if you are not the first, you are the last, there's no 2nd in life. Life is nothing but a miserable set of moments, some say they have found their happiness, but they haven't,  all they have done is kiss the mans ass and crushed their own ambitions and dreams. Dream big, dream of things that seem impossible and then burn every part of you to fulfill it, it doesn't matter if you fulfill it or not if you do, then yes you are the man, if not you ll die in pursuit of the one thing that matters, your dreams and there's nothing fulfilling than dying such a death, a death of a warrior, a death of honor.

Just Write It

I always considered writing as not my cup of tea, it just wasn't me, i couldn't write about anything, come up with word, lots of words but i don't know how but now i just love it, its as pleasing as watching the Real Madrid game on late Sunday nights. I always knew i was creative and i would come up with lots of things in my mind, like plan how i would spent money if i were a billionaire or think of myself as someone else and live life, basically i did dream a lot but never considered putting it into words for someone else to read, cant blame me for that am a scorpion. It was it 2007 when i 1st wrote something on my on it was a poem inspired from a song Pure Mornings by Placebo, i remember it clearly i was brushing my teeth with my iPod on and it just clicked. I didn't follow it up though, but last Sunday i read a blog by one of my favorite writers, Robin Sharma and i heard the click again but this time i decided to just go with the flow and now i am glad that i did. My graduation recently didn't bring me the desired relief as i had expected, although i scored much better than expected 1st class to be precise, i like showing it off, also the thought of my future doesn't really please me so i needed something, and i discovered writing was it. It took me away only for a while though and let me explore new horizons. It also brings out all the things that i had learned in my past and lets me understand it even better. Being a Economics graduate i try to relate all the things around me to the things that my books taught me and to a large extend i could and i did enjoy it. It might sound absurd but Economics actually makes a lot of sense when its brought down from the drawing board to real life scenarios and its fun maybe only for some who have studied the subject. I am not really that good with the subject but whatever little crumbs of Economics that lie in my head i try to put it in words. Some of my all-time favorite subjects are Economics off course, Sports, Music, Politics, so i have enough raw material for writing, for quite some time now, hopefully. The good thing about writing is no matter what you feel bored, frustrated, happy, whatever, you will always be able to write it off, writing gets the best out of our emotions. One could write good things when hes happy or maybe make a list of 100 people to kill when frustrated or angry, there's always something to write. So as a start-up amateur writer but a future Economist and writer, my message is simple, just write whatever comes to your mind, that's how i started, it feels great and worth every minute spent on it, in economic terms, the opportunity cost of writing is negative.

Art Thy Life

All things in life are dynamic and nothing can be done to change that, but there is one principle that remains static, we came into this world empty handed and that's how we will leave. All our material possessions,  who's slaves we have become will stay as they have always been, lifeless. Not many are born with a silver spoon in their mouth and so we have to struggle, fight for our place at the podium in this rat race which intensifies as we grow. In our struggle for survival we miss the scenic beauty that the journey of life offers in the belief that we will have a chance to cherish those lost moments again. As we grow we come to realize all the thing we missed and with no going back, the disappointments keep on piling and before we know it its time to leave.

Live your life as you dream,
Not someone else's as its too short,
Do all the things you like,
Enjoy all the moments that arise,
Cherish every memory you will find,
Cause the only sin in life is to die inside.

Patience

Sitting here doing nothing, i wait... wait to be challenged, to be pushed to my limits, tested in a competition fierce enough to scare many away. Am i ready is no longer the question i ask myself, get on the battlefield i want to, doesn't matter what happens any more, to be pushed is on my mind, not winning. Many things to lose i have but it doesn't matter, i no longer care for the thing i have. Losing doesn't scare me anymore, lost many times i have and the taste of victory hasn't been my luxury. It doesn't matter what i struggle for or what the struggle is, all that matters now is that i bleed in battle for victory or for survival. The longer the wait the stronger i grow and as i anticipate the struggle that comes i grow old increasingly frustrated with nothing to lose.

Life Is Short Better Make It Last [Fiction]

It was late that night, Friday the 13th. Home was far back in the suburbs and office in the city and the metro my connector. Missed the train not by much, i went for a coffee to keep me company for before the next train comes. I sat there looking back at my life and all that i had achieved. Was a invisible kid in school and a punk i college had a job that paid me enough to keep me happy but my ego was hurt as i had a lot in mind. Wife was lousy and the twins annoying, sometimes i wished i could just break away, but the thought of settlement brought me back to my senses. The coffee was refreshing as i enjoyed it alone. She appeared from nowhere sitting next to me. Her bright eyes hypnotized and her dark long hair i wished i could smell and her tanned skin shone like daylight. I was lost in her beauty, it felt like it was love at first sight but the itching ring on my finger brought me back to myself. She smiled at me and i was lost again only to be brought back by her soothing voice. She asked for the time which i thought didn't exist. The train arrived, my voice was back, its 0100 i said, she smiled again and climbed on the train, blew a kiss that struck me hard as i sat there cherishing our minutes together. I finished my coffee and thought of my wife, it was then that i realized that she was exactly what i like. Everything came back to me, her lousiness disappeared and the thought of my twins brought water to my eyes. I had just realized how beautiful my life was, my heart was pounding with joy and there were tears in my eyes. My thought were disturbed and there was blood all over my shirt, I was lost again never to be found this time. There was darkness in my sight but the thought of my life made me smile.
